The Meta Narrator:

T. Vincent Detmer

Me and my family at Graduation.

A Quick History:

I was born on June 16th, 1996, in Virginia but I have spent the majority of my life living in North Carolina. I graduated from Wakefield Highschool in 2014 and graduated from Campbell University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Since then, I have spent most days working to pay bills and most nights writing my stories.

Figuring Things Out:

I never really figured out what it was I wanted to do with my life until late into my college years. When I initially went to college, I planned to study Biology and go on to Med. School but I soon realized that I did not enjoy the classes or the subjects. I switched over to what had always been my favorite subject, History, but quickly realized that, while I enjoyed learning and talking about history, I did not enjoy writing about it. Next on the list of majors to try was English, my least favorite subject. Something just sort of felt right about it and I stuck to it, despite Campbell not really having much in the way of a creative writing program. During my last semester I started putting The Ruffians story down on paper and over the summer I had it nearly finished at which point I knew what I was going to do in life.

While I intended for The Ruffians story line to be the first one published, it is still in publishing limbo as it gets fine-tuned and sent out to agents and publishers. As a sort of experiment, I took The Demon of Avalon into my own hands and self-published it just to see what people thought about my writing and the Universe as a whole.
